i {heart} AYeLEt

While perusing the interweb, I stumbled upon the lovely
Ayelet Lontef, a textile designer and artist residing in Israel.  Concurrently, I'm learning about textile design and the various ways to create my own patterns.  I've always been attracted to this type of design, but never knew how much I would grow to love it.  It's quite ironic that I found Ms. Lontef just as I was exploring this very type of design in the classroom.  I believe it was certainly NO accident.  I've posted a few images of her works for all to see and enjoy.  You can also click HERE to check out Ayelet's blog.

NEW k o o d e l a h design{s}

Check out these delights...

I found these killer vintage brass buttons- hand painted in very soft & feminine, lavender, sage and cotton colors.  I instantly fell in L.O.V.E.  So...I created these beautiful hand wrapped, wire rings and couldn't be happier!!  They sit quite wonderfully on the hand and can be made using sterling silver 14kt gold filled  : and permanently colored brass wire.  They truly are very pretty!

Then, I thought about how much fun I had making these rings and wanted to design a more simplified version.  The end result- STACKABLES.
